We all know that Sheikh Mohammed is sitting in the cat bird seat. But please allow me to put down my criticism in black and white. I know that DFV is sponsored by Sheikh Mohammed but that doesn't mean he should be personally there to meet and greet celebrities like Tom Cruise. I don't hold anything against Tom Cruise but Sheikh Mohammed is one of the greatest men on earth, a member of Al Maktoum royal family and he is simply one of the very well respected figures in UAE..heck in the entire WORLD and he is way better than this.
My only thing is that most of Americans are very arrogant and they don not give a damn about the greatest Arab man in fact they treat Arabs with brutal sarcasm. I am not saying we should treat them the same but we shouldn't give them exceptional treatment and give a celebrity the privilege of been walked down the red carpet by the one and only the RULER OF DUBAI himself. Even though he has been voted Marketer of the Decade at the Gulf Brands of the Decade Awards but I always feel that Sheikh Mohammed has feet of clay when it comes to marketing his city.
What do you guys think?
